For The CITY! St. Louis City SC Tops Austin FC 3-2

St. Louis City SC start their inaugural season with a historic victory over Austin FC 3-2 in the first game of the MLS season. Tim Parker score the first goal for the franchise midway through the first half and gave City SC its first lead.  Austin FC scored to tie just before half time and then took the lead early in the second half 2-1 until City SC answered with a goal from Jared Stroud on the 78th minute tied the game at 2-2. Then on the 86th minute Joao Klauss a Designated player who was signed last March on a transfer from German Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, score the game winning goal on the 86th minute to give City SC a 3-2 historic victory on the road against on Austin FC who made to the Western Conference Semi Finals and is one of the favorites to win the MLS title. City SC will play their first home game on March 4th against Charlotte FC at 7:30 pm
