
After two straight loses City SC bounced back with 5-1 over FC Cincinnati, Saturday night at Citypark. The game was delayed for 2 hours because of severe thunderstorms throughout the St. Louis area. Jared Stroud scored the first goal 3 minutes into the game to give the City SC a 1-0. Then Eduard Lowen and Kyle Hiebert joined in the scoring frenzy to give City SC a 3-0 going into halftime.
Then Niko Gioacchini score the fourth goal in the second half to give City SC 4-0. FC Cincinnati goalie Roman Celentano scored the final goal to give a 5-0 lead for City SC. Finally, FC Cincinnati Sergio Santos broke the clean sheet when he scored on the 62nd minute in which City SC would win by a score of 5-1. The victory meant the City SC retakes the top sport in the Western Conference with a record of 6-2. There next game is on the road against the Colorado Rapids at Dick Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.
