Alton (IL)  The Alton River Dragons announce the signings of UW-Milwaukee freshmen teammates Max Glusick and Ryan Lemm. Both are slated to be the first players from the     Panthers’ NCAA Division I team to play for the River Dragons.



Glusick is a utility player from Sun Prairie, WI who was a decorated high school player for a program that was three-time league champion.  He earned All-District and First Team All-State honors as both a junior and a senior, hitting close to .500 over the two seasons combined.   He graduated as Sun Prairie East High School’s career leader in hits, singles, doubles and triples. Max’s success also translated to the hardwood where he earned All-Conference Honorable Mention all three of his seasons on varsity.



Lemm is a catcher/outfield combo from Janesville. WI who was a team captain his senior    season. He hit .470 with two homers and 10 doubles to earn Third Team All-State accolades his senior season, following a junior campaign that     garnered Second Team All-Conference honors.



The 2026 River Dragons season begins Tuesday May 26th at Quincy with the home opener slated for Tuesday June 2nd against Dubois County. The 2026 River Dragons will again be led by returning manager Jarrod Brissenden who is       actively signing a roster for the upcoming season.  Additional player signings will be made public throughout the winter. In addition, the 2026 promotional schedule and special announcements will be coming in the spring. Lloyd Hopkins Field will again host the NCBA DI and DII World Series in May, preceding the River Dragons season.
