The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed tight end Travis Kelce to a one-year contract, worth $12 million. The contract can be worth $15 million with incentives. Kelce, 36, played 17 games, with 17 starts, 5 touchdowns, 851 receiving yards, and 1 rushing yard in 2025. The games and starts tied career highs from 2022 for Kelce.

Kelce has made the Pro Bowl 11 times: (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).

Kelce has also helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl 3 times: (LIV, LVII, and LVIII).

Kelce had his best season in 2020. The season, Kelce played 15 games, with 15 starts, 11 touchdowns, and 1,416 receiving yards. The receiving yards were a career high for Kelce.

In 2017, Kelce had a career high (7) rushing yards.

Kelce had a career high (1) rushing touchdown in 2019.

In 2022, Kelce had a career high (12) touchdowns.

Overall, Kelce has played 13 NFL seasons. Kelce has played 192 games, with 185 starts, 82 touchdowns, 13,002 receiving yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 16 rushing yards.

It’s great to see Kelce coming back for another season. I think Kelce wants to try to go out on a high note when he does feel like retiring.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
