It was a moment fans waited a decade for.
Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Monday Night RAW after Bobby Lashley got injured in a match against Randy Orton. Announcing earlier in the day he would cash in his contract, Big E lived up to the hype and the crowd went absolutely nuts when he went out to the ring.
And the moment he won the WWE Championship, his first, will be a moment forever etched in WWE history, and is definitely one of Monday Night RAW’s greatest moments in recent memory. It was the #1 trending topic on Twitter, and fans and fellow wrestlers sent out their congratulations to the beloved wrestler, who has been one of WWE’s biggest stars over the years, but had yet to reach that top spot.
Until now.
PWInsider reported today that he will be part of the RAW roster going forward, reuniting him with his longtime New Day teammates Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
With the WWE Draft scheduled for the beginning of October, it’s curious to see where WWE goes from here.
