Portland Timbers Yimmi Chara scored late in the 2nd half to rally the team to a 2-1 victory over St. Louis City SC Saturday Night. The two team remain scoreless until a questionable handball allow Timber’s Evander da Silva Ferreira delivered on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute to give his squad a 1-0 lead.

Then Célio Pompeu notched the equalizer for St. Louis City in the 79th minute to tie the game at 1-1. City SC’s next game will be on the road against FC Dallas Saturday Night who played Minnesota United FC to a 1-1 draw.
