For the second time this week the Fire beat the City SC this time by a final score of 1-0. Defender Rafeal Czichos score the Fire only goal late in the first half while goalie Chris Brady made incredible saves to preserve the Fire victory and extended City SC to their 3rd straight loss after starting off 5-0 which is a record for an expansion team.

During the match, St. Louis was force to play a man down after John Nelson picked up a red card in the 70th minute of the match. Chicago controlled much of the match with a 6-2 advantage in shots on goal and the 9-8 in shots. St. Louis returns home in a 1-70 match against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday at 8:30.
