L.A. Galaxy rally from a 2-0 deficit to earn a 2-2 draw with St. Louis CITY on Sunday night. St. Louis jumped out early in the first half from goals coming from Samuel Adeniran who took a pass from Jared Stroud in the 4th minute and scored his seventh goal of the season. João Klauss scored his 6th goal of the season from an assist from Aziel Jackson in the 28th minute to push the lead to 2-0 at halftime. It looked like the St. Louis were on their way to earned 3 points with the win but handball and ensuing yellow card against Adeniran helped LA cut the lead to 2-1. Then Adeniran was force out of the match after earning his second yellow card of the match and City was forced to play the final 30 minutes of the game a man short.

The Galaxy (7-10-9) took the advantage late in the match when Billy Sharp scored in the 82nd minute to earn a draw against the Western Conference-leading St. Louis City. Despite the disappointing draw City SC still has a conferrable 7-point lead over second play Seattle Sounders who were idle this past weekend. While St. Louis still leads the Western Conference they’re struggling as of late on the road going 2-9-2 away from home since it started winning their first three road matches. They hope to improve this weekend when they go on the road play the Houston Dynamo Saturday Night.
