A big congrats for coach Eli Drinkwitz!
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz was named the Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year on Wednesday after he was able to lead his team to a 10-2 record and a third straight bowl berth in year four.
Mizzou finished with a No. 9 finish in the College Football Playoff rankings and a trip to the Cotton Bowl to face Ohio State later this month. Drinkwitz was also named SEC Coach of the Year by the Associated Press earlier this week.
Drinkwitz is 27-21 in four years at Missouri, earning bowl eligibility in all four seasons. The award will net him a $25,000 bonus from the University of Missouri.
In other Tigers news, the SEC also awarded junior quarterback Brady Cook its 2023 Scholar Athlete of the Year award.
