One of the top Big 12 quarterbacks of the past decade is heading to Ohio State.
Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard announced his intention to transfer to the Buckeyes.
In a conversation with ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Howard pointed to a list of things on his list that the Buckeyes provided. Howard gives Ohio State head coach Ryan Day a great veteran piece for the offense to work with as 5-star signee to their program.
Howard led Kansas State to the Big 12 title in 2022 and gives the Buckeyes one of the most talented and experienced signal-callers available on the transfer market.
The 22-year old Howard went 12-5 as Kansas State’s starter in 2022 and 2023 and led the Wildcats to a Big 12 title game victory over TCU in 2022. In his four-year football career with K-State, Howard went 458-779 with a 58.8 completion percentage. He threw for 5,786 yards, 48 touchdowns and 25 interceptions.
