The 2024 Kansas City Royals have made history.

Kansas City, 18-13, have won the season series against the Blue Jays for the first time since 2017. With 17 wins in the month of April, they also set a new franchise record for the first full month of baseball.

Starter Cole Ragans was fantastic and the Royals offense struck a little early and a little late to snap their three-game losing streak. In the top of the eighth, Bobby Witt Jr ripped an RBI-double to the left field wall and Vinnie Pasquantino missed a two-run homer by mere inches on a fly ball to right field. When the dust finally settled, the Royals extended their lead to three.

Now, are you ready for this one? The Royals won their 18th game last year on JUNE 4TH!

It’s just now heading into May.

They will go for a series win to close out the road trip tomorrow afternoon. Seth Lugo will duel with Chris Bassitt at 2:07 p.m. CT.
