The Chiefs lost 38-0 to the Broncos on Sunday. No way to sugarcoat it… it was bad.

In fact, the Chiefs’ performance on Sunday was so bad that the decision-makers at CBS pulled the game from their national broadcast. Not something your hear often when it comes to the Chiefs in a negative tone.

The Chiefs, who chose to rest their starters after clinching the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed with a Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, have been completely dominated by Denver’s starters.

Yes, the Chiefs benched their starters. Yes, Denver well “all gas, no brakes” on KC. But just the idea of CBS pulling the Kansas City Chiefs off of television, usually the most watched NFL team these days, is actually quite comical.

But, as stated, Patrick Mahomes was on the bench. Travis Kelce was on the bench. Chris Jones was on the bench, and so on and so forth. It was essentially the Denver Broncos playing their best, taking everything out on the Chiefs’ practice squad.

And Cincinnati Bengals fans hated every second, as the Broncos victory knocked them out of playoff contention. So no Joe Burrow vs Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs this year.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
