Missouri State was treated with a homecoming performance by Quarterback Jacob Clark who threw a season high four touchdown passes and completed a school record 30 passes to help his team to a 38-24 victory over UTEP. Clark threw for 330 yards and completed 10 different receivers including a two touchdown passes to freshman to tight end Jaron Askren. Senior running back Shomari Lawrence had 109 yards rushing and a touchdown in the game.

The Bears had a 24-7 halftime lead only to allow the UTEP Miners to score 17 unanswered points in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Clark let two touchdown drives of 75 yards to freshman wide receiver Tristian Gardner to make it 31-24 and 74 yards to close out the game for the Bears by connecting to senior Dash Luke on a 3-yard touchdown pass to make it 38-24. With the Victory the Bears extends their 5-game winning streak and continue their hopes on being awarded a bowl bid even though their first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The Bears have 2 games left as they play Kennesaw State University at 1 pm Central time and play their finally game of the 2025 season against Louisiana Tech on Saturday November 29th at 1 pm.
