The Cardinals beat the Royals 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. Kyle Leahy (5-3) pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits, 1 runs with 1 strikeout, and 3 walks. The innings were a career-high for Leahy. Leahy also got his (1st) quality start. Overall, the Cardinals have 17 quality starts.

Alec Burleson had a hit and 2 RBI’s (33). Masyn Winn had a hit and an RBI (17). Victor Scott II had 2 hits and an RBI (7).

Gordon Graceffo (3) and Justin Bruihl (6) both picked-up holds.

George Soriano picked up his (2nd) save. The saves for Soriano are a career high.

The Cardinals are now 27-18.
