The Cardinals beat the Reds 10-3 on Friday night. Kyle Leahy pitched 4 innings, allowing 5 hits, 3 runs with 1 strikeout, and 2 walks.

Hunter Dobbins (1-0) picked up the win out of the bullpen after pitching 5 innings, allowing 4 hits, 0 runs with 6 strikeouts, and 2 walks.

Alec Burleson hit his (8th) home run. Burleson also had 4 runs, 2 hits, and a walk.

Lars Nootbaar in his first game off the injured list had 1 run, 2 hits, and an RBI. Jordan Walker (45), Ivan Herrera (28), Masyn Winn (22), Jose Fermin (10), Jimmy Crooks (2), and Victor Scott II (8) also had RBI’s.

Walker (9) and Scott II (8) both had stolen bases.

The Cardinals are now 33-28.

Game is Saturday afternoon at 1:15 pm. The scheduled starting pitching matchup is Nick Lodolo (2-1), 5.20 ERA, 27.2 innings, 22 strikeouts, 13 walks, and a whip of 1.37 vs Matthew Liberatore (3-3), 4.35 ERA, 62 innings, 57 strikeouts, 23 walks, and a whip of 1.50.
