St. Louis City SC continues their unbeaten streak and they got a little bit of a revenge with a road victory over the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1. St. Louis Midfielder Daniel Edelman stunned San Jose eighth minutes into the match when he right-footed shot from the center of the box, giving his team a 1-0 lead. Then in 27 minute in Simon Becher scored his first of two goals on a set piece corner kick from Eduard Löwen to give St. Louis a 2-0.

After San Jose cut St. Louis lead to 2-1 Becher again in the 55th minute giving his team a 3-1 victory on the road an avenging a loss earlier in the season against San Jose 3-2 in St. Louis. With the victory the team club-record unbeaten streak of  ten matches across all competitions, set in August 2026 and impoves their playoff standing. Their match is against arch rival Sporting Kansas City on the road August 19th, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.
