The Cardinals beat the Reds 10-9 on Thursday afternoon at Great American Ballpark. The Cardinals also won the season series (8-5) against the Reds. Peter Strzelecki (1-1) picked up the win. The win is Strzelecki’s 1st in the MLB since June 6, 2023, against the Baltimore Orioles.

Jordan Walker hit his (26th) home run.

Walker 4(94), Alec Burleson (93), Joshua Baez (7), and Jose Fermin 2(30) all had RBI’s.

Riley O’Brien picked up his (33rd) save.

The Cardinals are now 66-53.

The Cardinals now go to Philadelphia for a 3-game series (Friday-Sunday).

The scheduled starting pitchers are

Hunter Dobbins (3-3), 3.42 ERA, 50 innings, 49 strikeouts, 21 walks, and a whip of 1.30 vs Jesus Luzardo (11-5), 3.23 ERA, 150.1 innings, 185 strikeouts, 46 walks, and a whip of 1.15.

Andre Pallante (12-6), 3.57 ERA, 136 innings, 97 strikeouts, 41 walks, and a whip of 1.24 vs Andrew Painter (2-8), 6.43 ERA, 85.1 innings, 71 strikeouts, 34 walks, and a whip of 1.55.

Kyle Leahy (10-4), 3.24 ERA, 122.1 innings, 111 strikeouts, 35 walks, and a whip of 1.31 vs Cristopher Sanchez (16-4), 2.51 ERA, 161.2 innings, 187 strikeouts, 38 walks, and a whip of 1.22.
