The Cardinals beat the Dodgers 13-8 on Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. The 13 runs by the Cardinals are the most they have ever scored in a game at Dodger Stadium. Michael McGreevy (6-9) pitched 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 4 runs with 4 strikeouts, and 2 walks.

Ramon Urias (4), Thomas Saggese 2(3), Jordan Walker (28), and Joshua Baez (6) all hit home runs.

Urias (8), Saggese 3(7), Ivan Herrera (56), Leo Bernal 2(2), Nathan Church (47), Walker 2(99), Baez (11), and Jose Fermin (35) all had RBI’s.

Fermin also picked up his (8th) stolen base.

The Cardinals are now 69-70.

Game 2 is Wednesday night at 9:10 pm.

The scheduled starting pitchers are TBA vs Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-8), 2.56 ERA, 158 innings, 153 strikeouts, 36 walks, and a whip of 0.89.

If the Cardinals win either on Wednesday night or on Thursday night, they’ll win the season series against the Dodgers.
