St. Louis unbeaten streak came to an end Saturday in St. Paul, Minnesota as Minnesota United rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat City SC 3-2. Rafael Navarro scored 4 minute into the match to give St. Louis 1-0 lead. Navarro has scored eight goals and four assists in eight appearances since being traded from the Colorado Rapids where he had 10 goals and four helpers through 22 appearances this season — all starts. The Jeong Sang-bin put the ball in the back in the net to make it 2-0 going to halftime.

St. Louis looked like they were going to extend their record breaking unbeaten streak to 22 games but Aziel Jackson started the rally for Minnesota United by using an assists from Kelvin Yeboah and Bongokuhle Hlongwane to score his first goal of the season. Then Yeboah scored his club-record 17th goal of the season to tie it 2-all in the 68th minute.

Then Marcus Caldeira scored the game-winner on the 86th minute to give Minnesota United an exciting victory in front of the frenzy 22,000 fans at Allianz Field St. Paul, MN.

For St. Louis, it was their first loss since losing to Austin 2-0 in May and next up is the team’s historic mid-week clash in the club’s first ever U.S. Open Cup Final against the Columbus Crew Wednesday Nigh.
