LA Galaxy stun City SC to earn a 1-1 draw

Early morning rain in St. Louis didn’t stop St. Louis’s nationally televise game against the L.A. Galaxy spoil their afternoon but a late goal by Daniel Aguirre scored the game-tying goal in the 86th minute of the match to earn a 1-1 draw after Niko Gioacchini broke a scoreless tie in the 68th minute. Gioacchini scored his sixth goal of the season and his third goal in the last five games.

There were four yellow cards total in the game but three in the first half that slowed momentum of the match. City SC dominated with 22-12 in shots created but trailed in possession time with just 45% for the game. City SC supporters raised money for Metro Trans Umbrella Group during pride month. With every goal score during Pride Month in June supporters have raised $2,712 and have pledge $904.14 for the end of the month. City SC remains on top of the Western Conference while the Galaxy remains in the last place. They next game for City SC is a Saturday night match up against Nashville SC.
