
City SC saw its three-game winning streak come to an end as LAFC scored all three second half goals to a 3-0-win Wednesday Night. Then Stipe Biuk scored the second goal of the match from an assist from Dénis Bouanga to push the lead to 2-0. The Final goal of the match was scored by José Cifuentes with an assist from Nathan Ordaz in the second minute of stoppage time to secure the victory for LAFC 3-0.
LAFC continues its impressive streak of their own having never lost to an expansion team, winning all seven contests by a combined 16-1 score. The Defending Championships up their record to LAFC (10-6-6) and are 10-4-5 against expansion teams. The City SC still lead the Western Conference with their record of (12-8-2) and became the first expansion team with three winning streaks of three or more since 2000. Their next match is at home Saturday night against Inter Miami.
