I crowd of 27,000 at The Dome of America’s witness a Football Dynasty as the Birmingham Stallions won their third straight Spring Football League title and their first XFL-USFL merger title with a convincing 25-0 victory of the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0. Adrian Martinez went 13-for-23 passing for 98 yards and a touchdown and added 54 rushing yards with two rushing touchdowns. The game started out slowly as both The Brahmas and the Stallions offense started poorly with penalties and poor play calling that led to eight punts in the first half.

Then Stallions running back Ricky Person Jr. broke a 44-yard run into Brahams territory. After a defensive pass interference call, Martinez finished the drive with a four-yard strike to Gary Jennings with 40 seconds left in the half giving his team an 8-0 lead at halftime following a 2-point conversion to wide receiver Amari Rodgers. From there on the Stallion never looked back as they score two quick touchdowns on the board. Martinez ran an 11-yard touchdown run after a very efficient 4-minute drive to start the second half of the game, to extend the lead to 16-0 followed by a 2-point conversion by tight end Jordan Thomas.

The Brahmas led the league in total defense, but the Stallions held their offense to 3.3 yards per rush, 6.5 yards per completion and just was limited to 208 yards of total offensive. They fumbled three times, losing two of them. Birmingham Coach Skip has now led his team to a title with three different starting quarterbacks in three years: J’Mar Smith in 2022, Alex McGough in 2023 and Adrian Martinez in 2024. The UFL Championship had the highest ratings for a Spring Championship averaged 1.596 million viewers and league hopes to build that moment with the same eight teams going into 2025.
