City SC broke a 9-game road losing streak by beating CF Montreal 2-0 Saturday Night. City SC’s midfielder Conrad Wallem scored the first goal in the 11th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead. Montreal had a chance to tie the game in the 22nd minute, but Fallou Fall saved it by heading it off the goal line to preserve his team’s lead.

Montreal had another chance late in the first half when Prince Owusu was left alone in front of the goal, but Bürki made the stop. After half time, in the 55th minute of the match, Marcel Hartel scored off a perfect pass from Joao Klauss to give City SC a 2-0 lead. The win was only the second road win of the year. Their last road victory came in the third game of the season against the LA Galaxy.

Next Saturday, City will play at San Jose at 9:30 p.m.
