I’m back after another layoff to catch you up on all the happenings around the St. Louis Cardinals offseason so far. We saw the 40-man roster deadline come and go with the Cardinals opting to leave a couple interesting names unprotected for the upcoming Rule 5 Draft.

In addition to the roster moves, the Cardinals are continually mentioned as one of the most popular teams in the league when it comes to the trade market. With plenty of controllable bats and holes in the rotation, we could see St. Louis fill their needs in multiple deals of their major league assets.
