The Kansas City Chiefs have hired Eric Bieniemy as their new offensive coordinator. Bieniemy, 56, most recently was the Chicago Bears running backs coach for 1 season (2025). Before joining the Bears coaching staff, Bieniemy spent 1 season (2024) with UCLA as their assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Before joining UCLA, Bieniemy was assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for 1 season (2023) with the Washington Commanders.

Before joining the Commanders coaching staff, Bieniemy worked with the Chiefs for 10 seasons (2013-2022). Bieniemy was the Chiefs running backs coach for 5 seasons (2013-2017) and then offensive coordinator for 5 seasons (2018-2022).

Bieniemy also helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl 2 times: (LIV and LVII).

Bieniemy replaces Matt Nagy as the Chiefs offensive coordinator. Nagy, 47, was on the Chiefs coaching staff for the last 4 seasons (2022-2025).

Nagy was senior assistant and quarterbacks coach for 1 season (2022) and then offensive coordinator for 3 seasons (2023-2025). Nagy helped the Chies win the Super Bowl 2 times: (LVII and LVIII).
