St. Louis was no match as they fell to the Seattle Sounders 4-1 Saturday Night at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Cristian Roldan scored two goals in the 22nd and 37th minutes to give Seattle a 2-0 lead. Albert Rusnák added a goal on a penalty kick in the 49th minute, and Seattle was up 3-0.

Seattle’s Osaze De Rosario scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-0 in the 87th minute. St. Louis finally scored when Eduard Löwen made his first appearance of the season when he subbed on in the 89th minute for St. Louis and scored a goal in the second minute of stoppage time. With the win, Seattle increases its unbeaten streak, with four wins in their last five games, while St. Louis (1-4-3) is winless in three straight games.
