The Cardinals beat the Pirates 10-5 on Thursday afternoon at PNC Park and swept them in a four-game series. Gordon Graceffo (2-0) picked up the win. Pirates starting pitcher Paul Skenes is now (0-5) against the Cardinals in his career.

JJ Wetherholt (7) and Jordan Walker (9) both hit home runs.

Alec Burleson (25) and Walker (23) both had 3 RBI’s.

JoJo Romero picked up his (8th) hold.

The Cardinals are now 18-13.

The Cardinals return home for a three-game series against the Los Angels Dodgers (Friday-Sunday). After the Dodgers, the Milwaukee Brewers come in for three-games (Monday-Wednesday).

The starting pitching matchups against the Dodgers are scheduled to be:

Emmet Sheehan (2-0), 4.78 ERA, 26.1 innings, 28 strikeouts, 9 walks, and a whip of 1.25 vs Matthew Liberatore (0-1), 4.75 ERA, 30.1 innings, 19 strikeouts, 11 walks, and a whip of 1.55.

Roki Sasaki (1-2), 6.35 ERA, 22.2 innings, 22 strikeouts, 13 walks, and a whip of 1.81 vs Michael McGreevy (1-2), 2.97 ERA, 33.1 innings, 21 strikeouts, 5 walks, and a whip of 0.90.

Justin Wrobleski (4-0), 1.50 ERA, 30 innings, 15 strikeouts, 9 walks, and a whip of 0.97 vs Dustin May (3-2), 5.28 ERA, 30.2 innings, 22 strikeouts, 7 walks, and a whip of 1.53.
