The Blues have agreed to terms with winger Dylan Holloway on a five-year extension, the team announced Friday.
The contract carries an average annual value of $7.75MM for a total value of $38.75MM, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports. The deal will kick in next year and run through the 2030-31 season.
The new contract also includes a 20-team no-trade list in his fourth year and a 15-team no trade list in his final season, according to reports.
Holloway, 24, recorded 22 goals and 51 points in 59 games with the St. Louis Blues last season.
A mixture of highs and lows, Holloway has registered 114 points (48g, 66a), a +34 rating and 10 game-winning goals in 136 games since joining St. Louis. He’s been one of the team’s most productive forwards but has also dealt with injuries and inconsistency.
The Oilers drafted Holloway 14th overall in 2020 out of the University of Wisconsin.
