Nolan Gorman (5) and Alec Burleson (5) both his home runs.

Jordan Walker went 4-4 with 2 RBI’s (25), a stolen base (6), and a triple.

George Soriano picked up his (4th) hold.

The Cardinals improve to 19-13.

Game 2 is Saturday night at 6:15 pm. The scheduled starting pitchers are Roki Sasaki (1-2), 6.35 ERA, 22.2 innings, 22 strikeouts, 13 walks, and a whip of 1.81 vs Michael McGreevy (1-2), 2.97 ERA, 33.1 innings, 21 strikeouts, 5 walks, and a whip of 0.90.
