Make it 17 games for St. Louis City without losing a match as they pulled off a convincing win over the New York Red Bulls 3-0 Wednesday Night. The two sides were scheduled to play this past Saturday but was postponed due to heavy rain in Harrison, New Jersey. On Wednesday the two sides played each other for the first time and St. Louis jumped up to a 1-0 led early in the first half when Raphael Navarro scored in the 5th minute of the match.

New York kept the game competitive until the 87th minute when Simon Becher took advantage off a Red Bulls turnover deep in its own half and put the ball in the back of the net to make it 2-0. Finally in extra time St. Louis scored when Tomas Ostrak sent in a rebound in the back of the net end the match at 3-0.

St. Louis goalkeeper Roman Bürki made four saves and got his third clean sheet of the season. St. Louis’s next game will be at home against the LA Galaxy Sunday evening at 6 pm.
