Team USA won their fourth consecutive match this time against Canada 1-0 in a very tough physical game at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The team were scoreless when Justin Ellis score in the 29th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead. It was Ellis second goal for team USA since he scored four minutes into his debut Sept. 26 against Peru. U.S. goalkeeper Brian Schwake scored his first shutout in his first career start as the U.S. avenged a pair of losses to Canada over the past several years.

Team U.S. will convene for the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals against Haiti, which will host the first leg Nov. 14. No word will they will play at a site to be announced. Due to security issues Haiti won’t be able to play their home match. The second leg will take place Nov. 17 in Cincinnati.
