Alton (IL)  The Alton River Dragons announced the addition of Joliet Community College catcher Mark Flisk and Ohio Northern left-handed pitcher Brandon Wise.  Both will be competing in their first summer college league season.

Mark Flisk is a sophomore from Tinley Park, IL playing his first season at Joliet Community College.  He is batting .362 with nine RBI through 27 games played.

Brandon Wise is a freshman from Saline, MI who is in first collegiate season at Ohio Northern.  A left-handed pitcher,  he has yet to appear in a game this spring.



The 2026 River Dragons season begins Tuesday May 26th at Quincy with the home opener slated for Tuesday June 2nd against Dubois County. The 2026 River Dragons will again be led by returning manager   Jarrod Brissenden.  In addition, for a second consecutive season, select games will be carried by 107.1FM WBGZ.


Also back for a fourth consecutive year, is the NCBA World Series, with both the Division I and Division II Tournaments taking place at Lloyd Hopkins Field starting in mid May.
