The St. Louis Blues have re-signed defenseman Tyler Tucker to a two-year contract extension, worth $1.85 million. Tucker, 24, currently has played 20 games with 2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points, and a -1 in 2024-2025. The goals are a career high for Tucker.

Tucker also has spilt time in the AHL with the Springfield Thunderbirds this season. In the AHL, Tucker has played 19 games with 4 goals, 6 assists, 10 points, and a plus 6.

In 2022-2023, Tucker had career highs in games (26), assists (3), and points (4).

Overall, Tucker is currently in his 3rd NHL season. Tucker has played 72 games with 4 goals, 6 assists, 10 points, and a -9.

The contract is a good deal for both sides. Tucker is a young and physical defenseman. If Tucker can improve over the next two seasons, he can earn a bigger contract.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
