The Virginia Cavaliers just got a huge boost at quarterback.

Missouri starting QB Beau Pribula is transferring to Virginia, sources confirmed on Monday afternoon. Thus far, Pribula has accounted for 3,233 total yards and 36 total TDs in his career.

His decision comes after he visited the Cavaliers on Sunday prior to the dead period. He also visited Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Washington and Virginia Tech, among others. Despite positive visits all around, Pribula ultimately chose UVA.

On3 Sports shared the development on its official X (formerly known as Twitter), with reports from Pete Nakos confirming the decision by the quarterback after weeks of portal speculation and visits.

Pribula was the Tigers’ starting quarterback this season and finished the year with 1,941 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions – he completed 67.4 percent of his passes. He played in only 10 games for Mizzou after suffering an ankle injury in October.

His transfer means he now goes from the middle of the pack (4-4, 8-5 overall) in the SEC to a team that finished first in the ACC regular-season standings (7-1, 11-3). The Cavaliers missed out on the College Football Playoff by losing the ACC championship game to Duke 27-20, but overall it was a very strong season by UVA.
